Mark Steven Dunmore, 55 of Cedar Rapids, died Tuesday, July 31, 2012 at Mercy Medical Center. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, August 3, 2012 at Brosh Chapel in Cedar Rapids, located at 2121 Bowling Street SW. Burial will follow in Rogers Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 until 7 p.m. Thursday at Brosh Chapel in Cedar Rapids. Mark was born August 22, 1956 in Clinton, the son of John and Joan (Carleton) Dunmore. He graduated from Clinton High School in 1974 and went to Clinton Community College. He worked the Railroad, Dupont, Birdseye, Ralston, and Survenior. Mark married Debra Osborn in November 1995. He played sports all through high School and college. He also played rugby for Muddy River (Clinton) until he was 40 years old. Mark loved his grandchildren and said they were his life. Mark is survived by his wife, Debra; children and grandchildren, Dan (Jen) Copeland and their children, Curtis and Katrina of Arizona; Carry Copeland and her children, Cody, Bryce, and Carver; and Derek (Emily) Copeland all of Cedar Rapids; his mother, Joan Dunmore of Clinton; sisters, Helen (Tony) Gonzalas, Sandy (Byron) Stowe both of Illinois, and Michele Dunmore of Madison, Wisconsin; brothers, John, Bill Dunmore both of Clinton and Tom (Sandy) Dunmore of Illinois; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Jack Dunmore, and his grandchild, Taylor. Memorials may be directed to the family.
