Marjorie M. (Clark) Rompot, 86 of Harpers Ferry, formerly of Cedar Rapids passed away Sunday, June 18, 2006 in Thornton Manor in Lansing after a long illness. As per Marjorie's request there will be no visitation or funeral service, just private family entombment held in Cedar Memorial Mausloeum., with Brosh Chapel in Cedar Rapids in charge of arrangements.
Marjorie was born May 27, 1920 in Cedar Rapids, the daughter of Claude and Bessie Cach Clark. Marjorie married Robert "Bob" Rompot on July 1, 1939. He passed away June 16, 1985.
Marjorie is survived by her brother Harry Clark, nephews David and Gerald Clark and several great nieces and great nephews all of the Cedar Rapids area. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and a sister Martha Clark.
A special thanks to Thornton Manor staff for all the loving care given to Marge during her long stay.
