Marguerite A. Wagner, 87 of Cedar Rapids, died Wednesday, May 1, 2013 at Mercy Medical Center. Funeral Mass will be 9:30 a.m., Saturday, May 4th, 2013 at Queen of All Saints Chapel at All Saints Catholic Church, located at 720 29th St SE, with Fr. John R. Flaherty presiding. Burial will be in Czech National Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. at the Church. Brosh Chapel in Cedar Rapids is in charge of arrangements. Marguerite was born March 11, 1926 in Cedar Rapids, the daughter of Frank A. and Sylvia (Lillian) Vomacka. She married Clarence "Cal" Wagner on November 24, 1949 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church. She worked for many years as a legal secretary and for the Linn County Recorder. She enjoyed gardening and tending to her yard and home. Marge was a member of All Saints Catholic Church and Young at Heart, and the VFW Auxiliary. The past few months she was a resident of Higley Mansion, where she shared her zest for life with everyone that she encountered. Marge is survived by a daughter Karen Wagner of Solon and her special friends Jerry "Andy" and Althea Anderson of Cedar Rapids. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cal on February 23, 2011, her brothers George Vomacka and Joseph Vomacka and her parents. Memorials may be directed to All Saints Catholic Church.
