Marguerite L. Murphy, 85 of Cedar Rapids, died Thursday, February 5, 2009 at the Dennis and Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy. Graveside services will be 3 p.m., Monday, February 9, 2009 at Cedar Memorial Cemetery. Brosh Chapel in Cedar Rapids is in charge of arrangements.
Marguerite was born August 16, 1923, the daughter of Max and Alice (Weaver) Sievers. She married Capt. Arthur L. Hulshizer Jr. on November 17, 1942.
Marguerite is survived by her sons, Jim and Larry; daughters, Deanna and LeAnn; 9 grandchildren; many great grandchildren; and her sister, Ruth Popelka.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Capt. Arthur L. Hulshizer Jr. on April 15, 1952.
