Margaret Emma Perkins, 87, of Cedar Rapids, died on Monday, March 19, 2018 at the Dennis and Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy.  Celebration of Life Services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 24, 2018 at Brosh Chapel and The Avacentre in Cedar Rapids, located at 2121 Bowling Street SW.  Burial will be in Anderson Cemetery.  Visitation will be 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, March 23, 2018, at Brosh Chapel and The Avacentre

Margaret was born April 9, 1930, in Swisher, the daughter of Charles and Anna B. (Vanourney) Zobin.  She graduated from Cedar Rapids Roosevelt High School, class of 1948.  She was united in marriage to Harry Lee Perkins Jr. on July 23, 1949 in Cedar Rapids.  Margaret enjoyed going on fishing trips in Canada, bingo, watching sports, and spending time with her family.

Margaret is survived by her children Peggy Lee Pechota and Linda (Duane) McQuerry both of Cedar Rapids and Tom Perkins of Swisher; six grandchildren Rachelle (Dave), Brett, Julie, John (Tiffany), Josh and Ryan; six great-grandchildren Kali, Paige, John, Tessa, Caden and Cole; as well as her four nieces and six nephews.

Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her siblings AnnaMae, Charlotte, Dorothy and Joe, and her daughter-in-law Lesta Perkins.
