Margaret Amelia Cach, 88 of 190 West May Street, Marengo, formerly of Cedar Rapids died Wednesday, September 17 in her home from a sudden illness. As per Margaret's wishes a private family burial will be held in Czech National Cemetery. Brosh Chapel in Cedar Rapids is in charge of arrangements.
Margaret was born March 7, 1920 in Ely, the daughter of James and Ludmila Hladky Mackey. She married Lester Cach on May 1, 1939 in Kahoka, Missouri.
Margaret is survived by her children Sandra L. Brecht of Marengo and L. Dennis (Carolyn) Cach of St. Petersburg, Florida; five grandchildren, seventeen greatgrandchildren and two great-greatgrandhchildren; a daughter in law June Cach of Cedar Rapids; a sister Catherine West of Cedar Rapids.
Margaret is preceded in death by her husband, a son John Cach, a son in law Ronald Brecht, and a grandson Joey Cach.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to Diabetes Research and or to the American Lung Association.
