Marcella A. Hahn, 85 of North Liberty died March 12, 2006 at St. Lukes Hospital in Cedar Rapids . Services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, March 16, 2006 at Brosh Chapel in Solon. Burial will follow in Anderson Cemetery , Swisher. Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Brosh Chapel in Solon and for an hour prior to services Thursday at the Chapel.

Marcella was born July 24, 1920 on the family farm in rural Johnson County , the daughter of William and Louise Dolezal Kloubec. She married Robert "Bud" H. Hahn, April 10, 1940 at 1 ^st Presbyterian Church near Ely. Marcella and Bud farmed together for many years in the Johnson County area. She loved the farm and the joy that it brought to her and her family. Marcella was a devout homemaker. She had a passion for gardening, cooking, baking kolaches, and loved to attend to her farm pets of all kinds. She always enjoyed the time spent being with her friends and family. Marcella was proud of her Czech heritage. She loved to dance, listen to the polkas and attend as many of the functions as she could.

Marcella is survived by a son Keith (Sharon) Hahn of North Liberty; a daughter Karen (Milo) Popp of Swisher; four grandchildren Ryan, Brian, Shelly and Rodney; six greatgrandchildren Brandon, Logan, Tori, McKenna, Taylor and Jessie.

Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband Bud who died December 20, 1987 , and a brother Leonard Kloubec.
