Madeline was born November 6, 1918, in Cedar Rapids, the daughter of John L. Hunter and Elizabeth (Tjaden) Hunter. She was united in marriage to David Mitchell on August 2, 1952, at the Little Brown Church in Nashua. In retirement, Madeline and Dave spent 25 wonderful winters in Arizona where they enjoyed hiking, biking and swimming.
