Louis Rozinek, 92 of Ely, died Tuesday, April 10 of natural causes at his home.  Funeral Mass will be 10 a.m. Saturday, April 14, 2007 at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church.  Burial will follow in St. Johns Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Brosh Chapel in Cedar Rapids where there will be a 6 p.m. rosary recited by the Knights of Columbus 5677.
Louis was born in Chicago, Illinois the son of Alois and Frances Adam Rozinek.  He married Josephine Hartl on May 1, 1940 at St. Ludmila's Catholic Church in Cedar Rapids.  Louis farmed in the Solon and Ely areas all of his life.
Louis is survived by his wife Josephine; daughters Patricia (Bunyan) Howell, and Rose (Bob) Carlo; sons John (Bernita) Rozinek, and Edward Rozinek all of Ely; grandchildren: Brian Howell, Lisa (Tim) Hinricher, Stacey (Kevin) Pidima, RaeAnne (Max) Diers, Stacy (Rick) Steffen, Tammy (Dave) Perrin, Todd (Kari) Viall. greatgrandchildren: Zach, Rebecca, Bailey, Samantha, Tyler, Madison, Lauren, Shawn, Jarod, Jessie, Taylor, Connor, Emily, Justin, Blake, and Brooklyn; sisters Marie Kroul, Libbie (Jim) Stahle, and Rose Ulch; and brothers Jim Rozinek, and Chuck (Rose) Rozinek.
Louis was preceded in death by his parents; sister Millie Krob; and brothers Joe, Frank, George, Vic, and Paul Rozinek.
