Lorita Fleet, 77 of Marion, died Tuesday, September 6, 2011 in her daughter's home. A Celebration of Lorita's life will be from 5 to 6 p.m., Friday, September 9, 2011 at Hus Memorial Presbyterian Church located at 2808 Schaffer Drive SW, with a reception following the service. Brosh Chapel in Cedar Rapids is assisting the family. Lorita was born May 9, 1934 in Pangburn, Arkansas, the daughter of Henry and Velma (Heath) Bogard. Lorita is survived by her son, William Fleet; daughters, Jeri (Rev. Mel) Ramos and Lisa Ford; stepsons, Joseph Fleet and Douglas Fleet; stepdaughters, Kathryn Fleet and Elizabeth Myers; grandchildren, Tiffany Fleet, Jason Fleet, Vincent Ramos, Veronica Ramos, Nicholas Ford, Daniel Fleet, Desiree Fleet, and Christine Fleet. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Wendy Fleet. Memorials may be directed to the Hus Church Youth Group in Lorita's name.
