The summer following graduation she married her longtime boyfriend, David Kvapil. After the ceremony they moved to Lincoln , NE where they established their longtime residence. While in Lincoln , Linda enjoyed spending time with her family, helping the Nebraska women's basketball team, and going on adventures in their old British cars. Dave and Linda moved to Littleton , CO in 2002 and they continued to enjoy outdoor activities and following local sports teams.

Linda is survived by her husband of 37 years, David; son, Jared (Stacey); mother, Viola; brothers, Larry and Ron ( Sandy ); and her grandson, Chase.

She was preceded in death by her father, Lumir.

Linda will be remembered by her family and friends as a wonderful, caring individual who fought so courageously and was ultimately taken far too soon. She will be dearly missed by all those whose lives she touched.
