Linda Jean Janko, 84, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on December 13, 2025, at St. Luke's Hospice in Cedar Rapids. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. December 18, 2025 at Brosh Chapel, located at 2121 Bowling St. SW in Cedar Rapids. Memorial Service will be 11 a.m. Friday, December 19, 2025 at Brosh Chapel. Burial will take place at Cedar Memorial Cemetery in Cedar Rapids.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents Austin and Laura (Neal) Armstrong. Survivors include husband Raymond; brother Ron (Bev) Armstrong; children Bryan (Rachel) Janko, Sheryl (Shawn) Woolman; granddaughters Christine Janko; Samantha, Andrea and Gabrielle Woolman.

Linda and Raymond enjoyed 64 years of marriage and lived out their dream of farming and raising a family.  Linda's career included time at Shellsburg Community School, CPU School District and USA Communications.  Volunteering countless hours toward Church, 4-H and FFA activities always brought her great joy. Linda was most at home when she was immersed in crocheting and quilting.

Linda leaves behind a legacy of smiles and a trail of avid followers seeking her famous chocolate chip cookies.

Heartfelt thanks to the Palo First Responders, Hiawatha Ambulance, and St. Luke's ICU and Hospice staff. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to charity of choice.
