Linda Marie Feye was born, the 5 th child of 7, on September 9,1950 to Ernest and Blanche Womochil. Raised on a farm in Fairfax, she carried her love of farm animals, chores and gardening in her heart. She married the love of her life, Michael Richard Feye, on December 26, 1969. Together they raised 7 children, which produced countless memories and good times. Linda courageously fought metastatic lung cancer and could always find something to be thankful for throughout the fight. Her greatest loves in this life were her grandchildren, her husband's strong hand, her Catholic faith, and hearing her children laugh while reminiscing about their childhood. Linda lived by the saying, "its better to serve than to be served" as she devoted much of her time being of service to those in need. Caring for her family's health was important to her as she enjoyed sharing essential oils with her loved ones, and she extolled the benefits of healthy eating. In her final hours, she found comfort in one of her favorite bible verses, "Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you."
Linda is survived by her husband, Michael, of 49 years and her seven children; Christopher (Leslie) Feye of Round Lake Beach, Illinois; Rachel (Joe) Brokaw of Newhall, Erin (Gregory) Franich of Bettendorf, Faith (C.W.) Hollandsworth of Palo, Briana (Andrew) Wilson of Ham Lake, Minnesota, Melanie (Jeremy) Mahan of Newhall and Kurtis Feye (Cari Soleburg) of Shellsburg: her grandchildren April Miller, Mark Feye (Ellysa Hauter), Monica and Steven Brokaw, Luke, Elizabeth, Elise, Mitchell, Helena, Jack, Julia, Josephine, Patrick Franich, Christian Feye, Lydia, Lincoln, Emmanuel, Mariella, Felicity and Maximilian Wilson, Kyler, Evelyn and Ellaina Mahan; her great-grandchildren Isabella and Gregorio "Trey" Rodriguez and Jude Feye; her siblings Delores Knoll of Rathdrum, Idaho, Carole Boddicker of Cedar Rapids, David Womochil of Spokane, Washington, Julie (Charles) Steitz of Cedar Rapids, Robert (Misty) Womochil of Spokane, Washington and Michael (Renee) Womochil of Hayden, Idaho; her cousins as well as her nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her oldest daughter Monica, three grandsons Kendal Feye, Andrew Wilson Jr., and Frederick "Eric" Logan, and her parents.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to her husband, Michael Feye to dispense to Linda's favorite charities.
