Lillian Marie Montgomery, 94 of Watkins, formerly of Cedar Rapids, died Monday, December 11, 2017 in her home.  Celebration of Life services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, December 15, 2017 at Brosh Chapel and The Avacentre in Cedar Rapids, located at 2121 Bowling Street SW.  Burial will be in Czech National Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, December 14, 2017 at Brosh Chapel.

Lillian was born April 18, 1923 in Cedar Rapids, the daughter of Frank and Libby (Lapour) Rocarek.  She was united in marriage to Cecil Montgomery on November 30, 1946 in Cedar Rapids.  Lillian was a dedicated homemaker to her family.  She enjoyed going to bingo, car rides, watching game shows, going out to eat, and most of all spending time with family and her granddogs Chloe and Molly.

Lillian is survived by her children Clifford Montgomery (Becky Christensen) of Cedar Rapids and Ruth Montgomery (Bob Hinkel) of Watkins; her brother Robert Rocarek of Palmdale, California and Donald Rocarek of Las Vegas, Nevada.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Cecil.
