Lillian H. Dlouhy, 89, of Cedar Rapids , died Sunday morning, July 24, 2005 at Mercy Medical Center , Cedar Rapids .

Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30am on Thursday, July 28, 2005 at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church, Cedar Rapids with Father Ivan Nienhaus, officiating. Interment will follow at Czech National Cemetery . Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 8:00 pm on Wednesday at Brosh Chapel, Cedar Rapids with a parish rosary at 7:00 pm .

Lillian was born on December 24, 1915 in Cannon City , Minnesota the daughter of Fred and Emma (Duffina) Sanborn. The family moved to Cedar Rapids in 1928. She married Leo Dlouhy and they farmed near Ely. She also worked for Wilson & Company for over twenty five years. Lillian moved to Cedar Rapids in 1977 after Leo passed away to be near her family. She was a member of St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church.

She is survived by a brother Floyd (Mardelle) Sanborn of Cedar Rapids, a sister Lucille Degen of Faribault , Minnesota . Lillian is also survived by her nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Leo, two sisters Marie Gloe, and Priscilla "Lalla" Dvorak and two brothers Kenneth and Gordon Sanborn.

A memorial fund has been established in her name.
