Langton, June 5, 1942 in Florida while he was stationed there in the Army. They returned to reside in Cedar Rapids after his term in service. She worked for Rockwell Collins for 29 years before retiring.
Libbie is survived by a son William K. (Cindy); daughters Maureen (John) Kiesel and Bonnie (Roger Lee) Bentley all of Cedar Rapids; 9 grandchildren and 18 greatgrandchildren.
Libbie is preceded in death by her loving husband William of 53 years, who passed away on July 23, 1993, her parents Anna and Clement Kalous and three brothers Ronald, Leo, and Robert.
All her family and friends will dearly miss Libbie. She always had a kind word for everyone. She needed only to meet you once and she remembered your name. She was a wonderful source of knowledge. She as her family would often say (she had a memory of an elephant) it was a joy to listen to her share her many memories with us all. She was a lover of crossword puzzles and loved to play cards. She and Willlie played cards with the friends and family as often as they could. In fact I bet there is a game going on up there right now.
Memorials may be directed to the family.
