Leon Lee Morrow, 65, of Cedar Rapids, died Saturday, May 8, 2021, at the Dennis and Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy.  Homegoing services will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, May 14, 2021, at Brosh Chapel and The Avacentre in Cedar Rapids, located at 2121 Bowling Street SW.  Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00p.m. Friday, May 14, 2021.  A private family inurnment will be at a later date.

Leon was born December 28, 1955, in Rock Island, Illinois, the son of Emanuel Morrow and Lillie Bell (Taylor) Morrow.  He worked for the City of Rock Island, in Animal Control for many years. Leon enjoyed gardening, cooking, helping others, dancing, and spending time with his family.

Leon is survived by his wife Betty Morrow; his siblings Elroy Morrow, Michael Morrow, Anthony Bomar, Billy Offutt, David Offutt, Linda Morrow, Toni Morrow, Vivian Coffer, Teresa Kyle Morrow; as well as host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Diane Morrow, his brothers Emanuel Morrow, Calvin Morrow, Ronnie Morrow, and Jerry Morrow.
