Lenora Lillian Stochl, 92 of Solon passed away peacefully in her home Sunday, October 1, 2006.  Services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 4 at Brosh Chapel in Solon with Rev. Scott Meador presiding.  Burial will follow in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Brosh Chapel in Solon, and for an hour prior to services Wednesday at the chapel.

Lenora was born October 23, 1913 in Solon, the daughter of John and Anna (Zachar) Novy.  Lenora attended Solon Community Schools.  She married David L. Stochl August 5, 1936 in Solon.

Lenora is survived by her son David (Joyce) Stochl of Iowa City; two grandchildren Christopher Stochl of Orlando, FL, and Angela (Ryan) Charlson of Kansas City, MO; a sister Ann Shimon of Solon; a brother Donald (Margaret) Novy of Iowa City; nieces Sally (John) Shimon Beretta of Des Moines, and Linda (Ken) Randall Sovers of Solon; and a nephew Rick (Sue) Randall of Solon.  She was preceded into death by her husband; parents; siblings Georgia, Emily, Elsie, Mary, and Milo; and brother-in-law Frank (Cookie) Shimon.

Memorials may be directed toward the Iowa City Hospice.
