Lee Edward Klink, 84 of Cedar Rapids, died Tuesday, July 29, 2014 at Higley Mansion Care Center. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, July 31, 2014 at Brosh Chapel in Cedar Rapids, located at 2121 Bowling Street SW. Celebration of Life services will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, August 1, 2014 at Trinity Lutheran Church, located at 1363 1st Avenue SW, where full military rites will be conducted by the Atkins American Legion. Inurnment will be in St. Stephen's Cemetery in Atkins. Lee was born April 17, 1930 in Gladbrook, the son of John and Lynda (McCullough) Klink. Lee proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. He married Barbara Jean Springsteen on May 4, 1970 in Atkins. Lee worked as an electrician for Cryovac / Sealed Air for over 40 years until retirement. He enjoyed casinos, traveling, eating candy bars, collecting tools and fixing anything. Lee is survived by children, Kim (Gerald) Wilkie of Cedar Rapids; Rick (Mary) Springsteen of Lisbon, Sindy Weaver and Toby Springsteen both of Cedar Rapids, Lori Springsteen (Rodney) of Anamosa; and nine grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers, Lyle Klink and Paul Klink. Memorials may be directed to the family.
