Lawrence William Yeries, 91 of Hills died Friday, June 30 at Atrium Village Care Center.  Services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 5 at Brosh Chapel in Solon.  Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. to service time on Wednesday at the Chapel.  A private family inurnment will be on Thursday at Anderson Cemetery in Swisher.

Lawrence was born December 19, 1914 in Sugarbottom, Newport Township the son of Barney and Anna Koss Yeries.  He married Lottie Margaret Stancel November 10, 1943 in Cedar Rapids.  He loved to farm and spend time tending to his garden.

Lawrence is survived by his wife Lottie; a daughter Linda (Robert) Grimm of Irvine, California; a brother Leo Yeries of Cedar Rapids; a sister Dorothy Schroeder of Tipton; one grandchild Jason (Sandy) Grimm of Los Angeles, California and one greatgrandchild Robbie Grimm; also special friends Brent, Sandi, Amanda, Cody and Emily Hudachek of Hills.  He was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers William, Melvin, Frank, Harlan and Glenn; five sisters Rose, Nora, Francis, Edith and Ethel.
