Larry D. Kaufman, 81, of Toddville, passed away on Monday, June 30, 2025, at St. Lukes Hospital. Private Graveside Service will be held. Brosh Chapel and The Avacentre are in charge of arrangements.

Larry was born August 11, 1943, in Tama County, the son of Leo and Bessie (Iezek) Kaufman. He was united in marriage to Velma Jiroutek on December 5, 1964, in Marion.  Larry worked for many years at Cortez Truck and Equipment and most recently at Cedar Valley World Travel.  He enjoyed hunting, woodworking, tending to his acreage

Larry is survived by his wife Velma; his children Dawn Kaufman (Dave Kerker) and Dean (Tina) Kaufman of Center Point; two grandchildren Britney (Robin) Turner and Blake (Tori) Wajvoda; brother Gary (Linda) Kaufman of Toddville; as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his siblings Melvin (Julia) Kaufman, Mariann (Don) Hepker, LeRoy Kaufman, and nephew Randy Kaufman.
