Larry Lloyd Hrdlicka, 67 of Cedar Rapids , died Monday, December 28, 2009 at his home. Services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 31 at Brosh Chapel in Cedar Rapids , temporarily located at 3100 F Avenue NW . Burial will follow in the Shueyville Cemetery . Military rites will be conducted by the Swisher American Legion. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until services Thursday.

Larry was born September 29, 1942 in Cedar Rapids , the son Lloyd and Helen Bys Hrdlicka. He served his country in the U.S. Army. He was a licensed electrician for many years. Larry loved to bowl, as well as fish, hunt, golf and watch NASCAR. For many years he was involved with racing and showing his prized Pontiac .

Larry is survived by his a brother-in-law Don Hahn of Cedar Rapids and a niece Diana (Russ) Straate of Minneapolis, as well as numerous cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his son David Hrdlicka and a sister Shirley Hahn.
