Lana Cory Hall, 72, of West Branch died February 5, 2014 of pancreatic cancer. Born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin in 1941, Lana Cory Hall had lived in West Branch, Salida, Colorado, Prescott, Arizona, Wisconsin and Illinois. In 1964 she received a Bachelor of Science degree in zoology and worked as a research zoologist at University of Wisconsin, Madison. Throughout her life she was also a homemaker, photographer, graphic artist, and message therapist, becoming certified in 2005. At the time of her cancer diagnosis in 2011, she had successfully built her own message therapy business and had dedicated her life to the healing arts. She is survived by daughter Eden Hall (Ron Leaton) of West Branch, sister Tolly Beck of Suffern, New York, grandson Wyatt Goodale of West Branch, a niece, nephew, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her daughter Amy Hall of St. Louis, Missouri and parents Richard and Hazel Cory of Wauwatosa, Wisconsin.
