Korrina Dawson, 60, of Cedar Rapids, died Thursday, December 9, 2021. Celebration of life gathering will be from 1 to 4 p.m., Saturday, December 18, 2021, at Brosh Chapel and The Avacentre in Cedar Rapids, located at 2121 Bowling Street SW.
Korrina was born June 2, 1961, in Mt. Clemens, Michigan, the daughter of James and Marilyn (Rick) White. She graduated from Cedar Rapids Kennedy High School, class of 1979, and later attended Hamilton Business College. Korrina was united in marriage to Ray Dawson on May 1, 1998, in Cedar Rapids. In her earlier years she worked as a bartender and in the pool and spa industry. In 2014, she opened ReAlive Metaphysical Shop which is currently located in Cedar Rapids. She was in acceptance of all people and made a lot of friends thru her life. Once you made eye contact with Korrina, she would engage in conversation. Korrina loved being outdoors, sunbathing around her pool, entertaining friends, and most of all spending time with her family.
Korrina is survived by her husband Ray; her children Nicole Bendickson, Shane White; her mother Marilyn Reynolds; Ray's children Tracy (Eric) Von Sprecken and RaeLynn (Ashley) Dawson; ten grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; her siblings Rick (Luann) White, Gary (Linda) White, Galen Reynolds, Bryan (Deb) Reynolds, and Tara (Jamie) Bowler; as well as her nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father and her grandparents.
