Kholece Xmas Wells, 53, of Cedar Rapids, passed away on Saturday, February 7, 2026. Homegoing Services will be 12 noon, Thursday, February 26, 2026, at Brosh Chapel and The Avacentre in Cedar Rapids, located at 2121 Bowling Street SW, with Reverend Damian Epps.  Visitation will be one hour prior to services.

Kholece was born on March 3, 1972, in Chicago, Illinois, the son of Joseph Wells and Annette Brown.

Xmas is survived by his wife Michelle Wells; his children Kholecia, Kendra, Khadijah, Kholece Jr., Mercedes C., and Mercedes A.; his brother Sterling Thompson; sister Nolana Eastwood; as well as a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Mark Thompson.
