Kenneth Lee Adams, 78, passed away at Goldwater Care center/Liberty Village in Clinton, IL on August 16, 2025. He was born on February 13, 1947, in Solon, Iowa to Glenn Adams and Catherine (Williams) Adams.

Ken worked for Dial Finance in Des Moines, Iowa and then moved to DMACC in Ankeny, Iowa before he moved his family to Mesa, AZ where he went to work for IBM until he retired in 2010. When Ken was younger, he enjoyed hunting and fishing and later when the girls were younger, he would take his family camping. Ken cherished his family and enjoyed spending time with all his kids and grandchildren.  Ken was a loyal Iowa Hawkeye fan and enjoyed watching football and basketball.  Ken loved to tease his daughters that rooted for Iowa State to have a good ole family rival in the house for some good laughs and fun times.

Ken is survived by his wife of 49 years, Bobirley Adams; children, Dyanna Butcher, Wendy (Mike) Gifford, Marissa (Mike) Greenleaf, Kendra (Ryan) Simmons, Shirley (Jeff) Stanley; grandchildren, Zachary, Zane, Keshia, Josiah, Jeremiah, Jordan, Jaydon, Japheth, Justus, and Kathryn. Great grandchildren Teagan and Colton Edvenson and Colette Gifford and nieces Lois (Steve) Keller and their kids, and Lisa (Bob) Von Spreecken and son.

He was preceded in death by his parents Glenn and Catherine (Kate) Adams and sister Karen White.

The family will be doing a celebration of life and private burial at a later date. Brosh Chapel and The Avacentre are assisting the family at this time.
