Kendall's Celebration of Life https://vimeo.com/1171135824?share=copy
It is with profound love and immeasurable sorrow that we announce the passing of Kendall Meana Pham, born on November 10, 2002, in Cedar Rapids at St. Luke's Hospital. Kendall passed away on February 27, 2026, at just 23 years old, leaving behind a legacy of creativity, warmth, and a spirit that touched everyone fortunate enough to know her. Daughter of Meana (Josh) Hackman and Hugh Pham.
Kendall graduated from Kirkwood with her Associates degree in Computer Science. She worked at BAE Systems and began to continue her education in Software Engineering at The University of Iowa.
From childhood, Kendall was vibrant, joyful, and endlessly artistic. She loved to draw, filling pages with the same imagination and color that she carried in her heart. She had a sweet little voice that never seemed to change, and a spirit that radiated warmth. She shared a deep, unbreakable bond with her big brother, Ben, who is now reunited with her. The two were inseparable, and their connection was one of the great joys of her life.
Curious and passionate, Kendall loved anything related to technology. She recently built her own PC from scratch — a project that reflected her determination and excitement for learning. She enjoyed gaming, dancing, singing, and cooking, pouring her heart into every hobby she took on. Recently, she found joy in building Gundam models and challenging herself with Souls-like games, always eager to explore something new.
Though not everyone witnessed this side of her, Kendall had a wonderful sense of humor. She shared her jokes and silliness only with those she trusted, and anyone lucky enough to see that part of her will carry it forever.
Kendall loved animals of every kind — dogs, chickens, birds — and most recently her beloved pets: her Balinese cat Guts, and her dog Meiko, both of whom she adored snuggling with and caring for. Above all, she loved her family deeply, especially her momma, who was her constant source of comfort and strength.
Kendall will be remembered as a funny, sweet, open-hearted person who loved freely and fully. Her warmth touched everyone around her, and her absence leaves a space that can never be filled.
She is survived by her parents Meana (Josh) Hackman and Hugh (Duyen) Pham. Siblings; Ethan, Keira, Tyler, and Jimmy. Aunt Somaly and Uncle Ane Lovan, who were like second parents. Grandmother Yan Prom and many cousins.
She was preceded in death by her brother Ben, Aunt Tevy, Cousins Kevin and Travis.
A visitation will be held at Brosh Chapel in Cedar Rapids on Friday, March 6th, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Shueyville Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to gather, honor her life, and celebrate the beautiful soul she was.
