Keith John Meskimen, 48 of Shueyville, died Tuesday, June 15, 2010 at the VA Medical Center in Des Moines . Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m., Saturday, June 19, 2010 at Brosh Chapel in Cedar Rapids , located at 2121 Bowling Street SW , a private family inurnment will be held at a later date. Brosh Chapel in Cedar Rapids is in charge of arrangements.

Keith was born March 21, 1962, the son of Regis and Lucille Dellamuth Meskimen in Cedar Rapids . He served his country and family the best he knew how. He was an outdoorsman who loved to being with his family, camping, hunting, and fishing.

Keith is survived by his daughter, Amanda (Randy) Johnson; son, Jeramiah Meskimen; grandchildren, Levi and Leslie Johnson; brother, Jerry Meskimen; sisters, Marcia (Dick) Wakeford, Beth (Roger) Davis, Lori Sharpe, and Kristen Ward.

He was preceded in death by his sisters, Carol, Cheryl, and Patty; niece, Kathy; and nephew Curtis.

Please remember Keith as the most wonderful father, son, brother, and grandfather that he was. He will be missed dearly.
