Kathryn Elliott Holland, 98, died Saturday, March 16, 2013 at Colonial Manor Nursing Home in Amana. Services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 19th at Brosh Chapel in Cedar Rapids, located at 2121 Bowling Street SW. Visitation will be one hour prior to services. Private family inurnment will be at a later date in Norway Cemetery. A luncheon in honor of Kathryn will be served immediately following the services in The Avacentre. She was employed by the Wilson Company for 33 years, where she met her close friend Wilma Critchfield. She and Wilma talked by phone almost every day after they retired. She enjoyed playing Bingo and taking bus trips with friends from the P3 Union Hall. She also enjoyed going to the casinos with friends, Bill and Sally Bartosh. Kathryn was born on May 1, 1914 in Mitchelville, the daughter of Charles A. and Agnes (Brown) Elliott. They moved to Norway in the early twenties. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother Revere. She is survived by one son Myron (Roberta) Montague; a brother Donald (Dorothy) Elliott all of Norway; a grandson Ryan (Stephanie) Montague; a granddaughter Kelly Brockett; two great-grandsons William and Richard Montague; one great-granddaughter Bethany and a nephew Max (Julie) Elliott and family.
