Kallie J Lindsay Hawkins, 18, of Cedar Rapids passed away on Tuesday May 12, 2026. Funeral Mass will be held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 20, 2026, at St. Jude Catholic Church, burial will follow in Rogers Grove Cemetery, Ely. Brosh Chapel and The Avacentre are assisting the family at this time.

Kallie was born on July 29, 2007, in Cedar Rapids, the daughter of David James and Cassandra Lindsay (Carroll) Hawkins. She was attending and will be part of the graduating class of 2026 at Cedar Rapids Jefferson High School. Kallie was a great sister, daughter, aunt, known for her laughter, hugs and dance moves. She was fierce and strong. Kallie enjoyed thrifting, basketball since she was little, travelling, sunsets, the ocean, eating a good hamburger, taking adventures, exploring, and most of all spending time with her family. Most recently she was accepted into Aviation school in Florida.

Kallie is survived by her parents; her siblings Kristen (Ian) Hawkins-Hamer, Katrina Hawkins (Isaac), Karmen Hawkins, Anthony Hawkins; her niece and nephew Locket and William; her nana Melody Carroll; and her grandma Carolyn Hawkins. 

She was preceded in death by her papa Robert Carroll and grandpa Conrad Hawkins.
