Justin Paul "Billy Ray" Lucas, 58, of Cedar Rapids, passed away on Friday, September 15, 2023, at St. Luke's Hospital.  Celebration of Life gathering will be from 2 to 5 p.m. Saturday, September 23, 2023, at Brosh Chapel and The Avacentre in Cedar Rapids, located at 2121 Bowling Street SW.

Justin was born March 10, 1965, in Portage, Indiana.  He graduated from Portage High School, and later earned a metallurgy degree from Denver University.  Justin owned and operated a trucking company, and in recent years, was a dump truck driver at Midwest Concrete.  He enjoyed shooting guns, riding motorcycles, and most of all spending time with his kids.

Justin is survived by his sons Garrett Lucas, Zachariah Alan Lucas, Michael Lucas, and Kyle Lucas; his non-biological son James Friant; daughter Brianna Lucas; and his sister Lucy Harris.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Kenny.
