Judy Lee McDougal, 79, of Cedar Rapids, died Sunday, August 6, 2023, at Mercy Medical Center.  As per Judy's wishes private family services will be held in Oakland Cemetery, Solon. Brosh Chapel and The Avacentre in Cedar Rapids is in charge of arrangements.

Judy was born June 2, 1944, in Solon, the daughter of Francis and Norma (Rhoades) DeMar.  She graduated from Solon High School.  Judy was united in marriage to Terry McDougal on March 31, 1990.   She was a passionate bowler and was an instructor for many years.

Judy is survived by her husband Terry; her children Marlene Burgess and Alexis "Janine" Snyder; her sister JoAnne (Earl) Ernst, Kay (Rich) Fulkerson, and Dodie DeMar; sisters-in-law Mary Ellen and Karon DeMar; as well as her nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her siblings Joe DeMar, Jeff DeMar, Kenny DeMar and Jack DeMar.
