Judy Maree Jahnke, 79, of Lisbon, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 19, 2022, in her home.  A Celebration of Life will begin at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, April 2, 2022, at the Solon American Legion.  Brosh Chapel and The Avacentre in Solon is assisting the family.

Judy was born September 5, 1942, in Iowa City, the daughter of Danny and Maree (Gross) Coblentz.  She graduated from University High School in Iowa City.  Following, she attended Mercy Hospital School of Nursing from 1960-1963.  Judy was a nurse for over forty years in the Emergency Room at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City. She was united in marriage to Daniel Jahnke on January 15, 1972. Judy was always up for an adventure. She enjoyed traveling, dinner and movies with friends. Most importantly spending time with her loving family, especially the grandchildren.

Judy is survived by her children Jayme (Tim) Moore of Lisbon, John (Simona) Jahnke of Clermont Florida, Ronnie Jahnke of North Liberty, Bud (Mary Jane) Jahnke of Solon, Jane (Tom) Drews of Iowa City; 15 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren; and her sister Rita Honn of Brooklyn.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Daniel, and her grandson Daniel Drews.
