Judith Anne O'Connor Decker, age 82, of North Liberty, Iowa, died on March 22, 2024.

Visitation will be at Brosh Chapel and the Avacentre in Solon, Iowa, on Tuesday, March 26, from 4 to 7p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, March 27, at 9:30 a.m. at the Newman Catholic Student Center, 104 E. Jefferson Street, Iowa City. Father Edward Fitzpatrick will officiate. Burial will follow at Ridgewood Cemetery in North Liberty.

Judith Anne O'Connor was born on March 13, 1942 in Mount Pleasant, Iowa. The daughter of Michael "Donald" O'Connor and Mary "Genevieve" (Panther) O'Connor. Judith married Eldon Curry Junior in December of 1961. They lived in Iowa City and Coralville where they raised their family and later divorced.
November 2002, Judith married Laurel "Weldon" Decker. He died in 2018.

Judith is survived by her children, Ronda (Mark) Lipsius of Iowa City, Alan (Candace) Curry of Sharon Center, Kimberly (Darryl) Fosdyck of Estill Springs, Tennessee and Jacquelyn (Tony) Eggert of Solon.

Grandchildren and great grandchildren, Tim (Karlie) Lipsius and daughter Paisley. Danielle (Brett) Nepple and children Brooks and Eleanor. Tiffany (Brandon) Hanes and daughters Emma, Adelyn, and Vivian. Kyle Curry, Megan Fosdyck, Trevor Fosdyck, and son Leighton, Danica Curry, Devin (Justin Chen) Eggert, Payten (Marc) DuBree, Reagan Eggert and Roman (Amber Beranek) Eggert.

Sisters, Carolyn (Dennis) Prottsman and Margaret O'Connor of Mount Pleasant, Iowa, and numerous cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers Thomas and Michael (who died at the age of 20 in the Vietnam War) and both of her husbands.

Memorials may be made to Iowa City Hospice in memory of Judith O'Connor- Decker.
