She was an active volunteer particularly with the ARC of East Central Iowa. She and Bill devoted several thousand hours to the organization.

Each of us who knew and loved Judi know that she was a loving, caring person who shared her many gifts with us in many ways. Bill, Bryan and Chris were the recipients of her gift of undying love and devotion. Many of us were the recipients of her love and caring in other ways. From the perfectly timed American Greetings cards, to the trips to Playtime Poppy, to the hours spent in prayer and discussions of faith, Judi's kindness and thoughtfulness was shared by all. A famous poet once said, "It is in the details where God lives." Judi's gift of attention to detail was evident in everything she did. In a way, then, Judi has always been with God all along. We will all miss her greatly, but now, we know where we can find her…in the details.
Memorials may be directed to Christ Community United Methodist Church or the ARC of East Central Iowa.
