Judith Ann Faaborg-Woods, 72 of Cedar Rapids, died Wednesday, September 28, 2011 at St. Luke's Hospital. Graveside services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, October 3rd at Western Cemetery, with Rev. Dr. W. Bramwell Harnish presiding. Visitation will be from 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Brosh Chapel in Cedar Rapids, located at 2121 Bowling Street SW. Judith was born December 29, 1938 in Cedar Rapids, the daughter of George and Mildred (Grimm) Kinkead. Judith married Lynn Faaborg on May 10, 1958 and were later divorced. She married Tom Woods, who preceded her in death in 2009. She worked at Rockwell for many years until her retirement. She drove a school bus for the Cedar Rapids School System. Judith enjoyed gardening, flowering as well as spending time with her family. Judith is survived by her daughters Vicki (Jim) Rudd of Blakesburg and Traci (Phil) Davis of Western; five grandchildren Jaime, Jodi, Janele, Jena, and Shawn; sisters Doris Erickson, Faye (Larry) Wade, Peggy (Arie) DeJong, Cathy Frazier; brothers Jim (Julie) Kinkead, David Kinkead, Bill (Linda) Burgess, and John Frazier. She was preceded in death by parents, her husband Tom, and brothers Ronald Kinkead and Robert Kinkead. Memorials may be directed to the family.
