Joseph "Joe" Herbert Turkal, 83, of Solon, died Thursday, July 19, 2012 at the Solon Nursing Care Center. Visitation will be from 4 until 7 p.m. Thursday, July 26, 2012 at Brosh Chapel in Solon. Private family burial will be in Oakland Cemetery-Solon. Joe was born December 3, 1928 in Solon, the son of Carl and Lotus (Randall) Turkal. He married Marjorie Fulton on June 7, 1952 at the Solon United Methodist Church. Joe is survived by his children, Malinda (Bruce) Anderson of Solon, Mat (Katy) Turkal of Evergreen, Colorado, and Mark (Jody) Turkal of Solon; grandchildren, Vicki (John) See, Hannah Turkal, David Bremer, and Max Turkal; and his great-grandchildren, Lucus, Cindy, and Jacob.
