Jon Martin Burgett, 46, of Cedar Rapids, passed away on Friday, February 21, 2025. Celebration of Life services will be held at Brosh Chapel and The Avacentre in Cedar Rapids, located at 2121 Bowling Street SW on March 22, 2025 at 1:00 pm. Private family inurnment will be at a later date.

Jon was born June 16, 1978,  in Cedar Rapids, the son of Carl and Deborah (Andreas) Burgett. He attended Beaufort Academy,  Jefferson High School and Kirkwood Community College. Jon lived as his most authentic and unapologetic self throughout his life, speaking his truth no matter the circumstances. He loved big bodied rides with '22 inch rims, especially his '64/'65 Impala, making and listening to music, eating good, and conversing with anybody that kept it real.

Jon is survived by his son Jordan Burgett; sister Jennifer (Jason) Pierson; sister Tina Holliday; father Carl Burgett; mother Deborah Andreas; extended family and many other loved ones.

Memorials may be directed to the Jordan through Collins Community Credit Union.
