Jocile M. Cilek, 72 of Solon, died Tuesday, August 4, 2009 at St. Luke's Hospital after a brief illness. Funeral Mass will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, August 10, 2009 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Solon. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Sunday at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Solon where there will be a 7 p.m. Vigil.
Jocile was born February 19, 1937, the daughter of John and Alma Serbousek Stahle. She married David J. Cilek on October 17, 1957, in Solon. Jocile worked at ACT for several years.
Jocile is survived by her husband, David; son, Douglas (Julie) Cilek of Solon; daughter, Kathy (Charles) Luchardt of Alamo, CA; five grandchildren; her brother, Sam (Diane) Stahle of Solon; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
