JoAnne Craig Havran, 85, of Cedar Rapids, died peacefully June 6, 2016 at Cottage Grove Place following a short illness.  Celebration of Life Service will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, June 10, 2016 at St. Paul's United Methodist Church, located at 1340 3rd Avenue SE,. Private family inurnment will be held at Czech National Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family on Thursday, June 9, 2016 from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. at The Avacentre at Brosh Chapel located at 2121 Bowling Street SW, Cedar Rapids .

JoAnne is survived by her husband Leo of over 67 years; her sons Craig Lee Havran of Marion, Kevin Randal (Cecilia Balot) Havran and Clark Douglas (Jill Staley) Havran both of Cedar Rapids; three grandchildren Joshua (Brittany) Havran, Mathew (Heidi) Havran and Valerie Havran; one great-grandson Myles Clayton Havran; and a sister-in-law Katheren Craig of Hiawatha. JoAnne is preceded in death by her parents, two brothers David (Darlene) Craig and Robert Craig and one sister Margaret Mae (James) Wood.

She was born July 21, 1930 near Palo, the daughter of Edward Moore and Joanna Alice (Hahn) Craig.  She graduated from Center Point High School, class of 1948.  She married Leo Havran on July 25, 1948 in Center Point.  JoAnne's life work involved Montgomery Ward, Killians, World Book Encyclopedia, Cleveland Elementary School and Havran Construction, with her husband Leo.  She enjoyed art, traveling, gardening and spending time with her family.
