Jerry Robinson, 65, of Cedar Rapids, passed away on Wednesday, May 14, 2025, at the Silver Oak Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Marion. Homegoing services will be 10:30 a.m., Friday, June 6, 2025, at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church, Cedar Rapids.

Jerry was born on January 20, 1960, the son of Oliver Robinson and Virginia Pearl Ray-Robinson. Jerry Robinson was a good-hearted, loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle and partner who found joy in carpentry work, music cooking, and spending time with all of his loved ones. Jerry was a kind-hearted man who would always look out for others. Jerry had an infectious smile and laugh that will be greatly missed.

Jerry leaves behind to honor his memory his children Lakeshia( Thomas) Hayward Jereme Williams, Chrishun Williams Marrion Robinson; 13 grandkids; 2 great grandchildren; his brothers George Robinson, Frank Robinson, Kenny, Robinson, Gary, Robinson; his sister Tami Robinson; And several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by is his parents; former long time partner Sylvia Willams; his brother James Robinson; and his sister Laura Robinson.
