Jerry Ray Netolicky Jr., 91 of Cedar Rapids, died Thursday, May 31, 2012 at Mercy Medical Center. Services will be 12:00 p.m. Saturday, June 2, 2012 at Brosh Chapel in Cedar Rapids, located at 2121 Bowling Street SW. Burial will follow in Czech National Cemetery. Visitation will be an hour prior to services Saturday at Brosh Chapel in Cedar Rapids. Jerry was born December 7, 1920 on the country farm near Solon. He graduated from Sulek Country School in Solon. Jerry married Doris Becicka on March 18, 1947 in Ely. He worked at the former Wilson & Co. for 37 years and retired from Farmstead Food in April 1983. Jerry was a member of CSA Lodge. He enjoyed woodworking, gardening, polka dancing, and going fishing. Jerry is survived by his nephews, Lee Kalous (Donna Heidt), Ken (Patty) Kalous, and Duane (Carol) Kalous as well as numerous great-nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Doris; a brother, Ivan Netolicky; and a sister, Helen Kalous. Memorials may be directed to the family.
