Jerry L. Kleinmeyer, 66, of Toddville, passed away on Friday, September 18, 2026, in his home surrounded by loved ones. A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held at a later date. Brosh Chapel and The Avacentre in Cedar Rapids are assisting the family at this time.

Jerry was born on September 22, 1959, in Iowa City, the son of Kenneth Kleinmeyer and Velma Irene (Bowman) (Koehler) Hamdorf. He worked as an OTR driver, most recently for Morrison Trucking. Jerry loved the outdoors and being with his family.

Jerry is survived by his loving wife Sue Kleinmeyer; children Jeremy of Mt. Vernon, Brian of Marion, and Brandon of Webster; stepsons Chad (Melissa) Buck of Traer, Aaron Buck of Waterloo, and Brian Buck of Marion; seven grandchildren; siblings Gary (Pat) Kleinmeyer of Lone Tree, Terry (Kathleen) Kleinmeyer of Princeton, MN, Larry (Linda) Kleinmeyer of Shueyville, and Connie (Bob) Tomkins of Cedar Rapids; aunt Margaret Bowman of North Liberty; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents stepdad and mother.
