Jeffrey Haugh, 78, passed away on October 15, 2023, at the Dennis and Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy in Hiawatha, Iowa. Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 15, 2023 at the Rock Island National Cemetery with military burial honors. Brosh Chapel and The Avacentre in Cedar Rapids is in charge of arrangements.

Jeff was born on April 19, 1945, in Chillicothe, Ohio, the son of Charles and Edna (Bell) Haugh. He graduated from Leavenworth High School, Class of 1963. He later attended Northwest Missouri State University where he played football. Jeff served in the United States Marine Corps from 1966-1968. He received many military decorations during the Vietnam War, including the Purple Heart Medal, the National Defense Service Medal, the Presidential Unit Citation, among others. Jeff and Colleen Perry were together for 35 years. He loved watching San Francisco 49ers football and Giants baseball. He enjoyed music, fishing, reading, and nature. Jeff was Treasurer of the Eagles Club in Brisbane, California.

Jeff is survived by his son Jeffrey (Chad Salinas) Mila of Los Angeles, California; his siblings Terry Haugh and Teresa (Mick) Meeks both of Cedar Rapids; his stepchildren Mitchell (Tina) Perry of Brisbane, California and Michael (Vicky); his step grandchildren Mark, Erin, Lenae, Mia, Marina, and Mikey; his former wife Titi (Phil Clifton) Mila of San Bruno, California; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his devoted partner Colleen Perry, his brother Charles Haugh, sister-in-law Theresa Haugh, and stepson Mark Perry.
