Jeff was born August 11, 1977 in Cedar Rapids, the son of Gaylen and Chris Eichler Anderson. He died on his birthday. God called him, and I'm sure grandma Chadima was waiting for him as she loved her little Jeff. He graduated from Metro High School and then attended Hawkeye Community College in Waterloo receiving a degree in Graphic Arts in May of 2001. Jeff loved spending time with friends, family and his dear cat, Paisley.
Jeff was blessed with many talents. He was a natural artist from a young age. The arts were a way that Jeff expressed his emotion and shared his creativitiy with the world. He especially enjoyed working with clay as well as drawing and oil painting.
Jeff is surivived by his father Gaylen Anderson of Cedar Rapids, mother Chris Christianson and husband Terry of Hiawatha; sisters Stefanie Anderson of Seattle, Washington, and Suzanne Cox and husband Gordon of Hiawatha; step sisters Angie and Sara Christianson of Omaha; grandparents Ed and Carleeta Eichler of Ely, and Mary Ann Anderson of Cedar Rapids; nephew Dakota and a niece Mariah; as well as several cousins and many aunts and uncles.
Jeff is preceded in death by his grandfather Edwin W. Anderson and great grandparents Charles and Mildred Chadima, and Ed L. and Evelyn Eichler.
Memorials may be directed to the family.
