Janice Lee Schuster, 75, died peacefully Saturday, March 30, 2013. Celebration of Life Services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 3rd at Brosh Chapel in Cedar Rapids, located at 2121 Bowling Street SW. A gathering in Janice's honor will be held in The Avacentre following the inurnment at Czech National Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Brosh Chapel. Janice was born January 31, 1938 in Crescent, Oklahoma, the daughter of Harold and Gladys (Fellers) Hudson. She graduated from Plainville High School in Kansas. Janice met Ronald Schuster in Omaha and later married him in Lewiston, Nebraska. They farmed in Lewiston for many years both before and after living in Enid, Oklahoma working in the Oilfield industry. In 1986, they moved to Cedar Rapids, where they established their home. Janice had a deep love for God, His Word and sharing that with others. She enjoyed her family, especially her grandkids. Janice was one of the sweetest and kindest women and will be greatly missed. Janice is survived by her husband Ron, her sons Randy Schuster and Sean (Carrie) Schuster both of Cedar Rapids; four grandchildren Rachel, Dylan, Gabriel, and Carter; one great-granddaughter Shaylee; a sister Sue Dreher of Salina, Kansas; and a brother Lonnie (Chong) Hudson of Guymon, Oklahoma; as well as several nieces and nephews. Janice was preceded in death by her parents, and a sister Patsy Sue Hudson. Memorials may be directed to either The Way International or to the American Diabetes Association in Janice's name.
