James "Jim" Robert Parish Jr. , 59, born June 27th, 1964 in Charles City, Iowa. A long-time resident of Cedar Rapids, Iowa passed away Tuesday, August 29th, 2023 at Mercy West Des Moines.

Jim graduated from Metro High School of Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Later in life studied at Kirkwood community college. Jim's hobbies included: fishing, cook-outs, and online gaming

Jim is survived by Son - James Robert Parish III, 27 Grandchildren - Elliot Wendling 15, Everett Wendling 11, Emmett Parish 5, Siblings - Regina Burnett, Selina Parish-Logan, Terina Luse-Hemminger, Delbert Parish, Verina Williams. as well as countless other loved ones.

Previously departed loved ones include: James Robert Parish Sr., Father; Leona M. (King) Parish, Mother.

Jim's Celebration of Life will be held at Jones Park, lagoon Pavilion. Starting at 12 P.M. on Saturday, September 9th, 2023.
