James L. Leslie, 44, of Cedar Rapids, died Wednesday, October 19, 2016. A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, November 12, 2016 at the Eagle's Club. Brosh Chapel and The Avacentre in Cedar Rapids is serving the family.

James Laru was born September 3, 1972 in Marengo,IA  the son of Dennis Eugene and Cathryn Lee (Luethye) Leslie. He graduated from Prairie High School in 1990. He worked at Adams Doors. He enjoyed being with his family. Watching the Greenbay Packers games. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

James is survived by his Mother Cathy Druger ,Wife Jeannette Tinstman , Son Chaseton Morgan , Brother Nic Schoelerman , Brother John Leslie , Stepson Brandon Tinstman , Grandchildren Caleb Morgan , Rilynn Morgan , Niece Hope Schoelerman, and Nephew's  Kyle and Kalvin Tinstman.
