James Dean Jones, 37 of Solon, died Wednesday, January 9, 2008. A celebration of life service will be 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 15 at Brosh Chapel in Solon. Brosh Chapel in Solon is in charge of arrangements.
James was born June 24, 1970 in Iowa City the son of Carol Obadal and Terry Stammeyer. James was a truck driver for Atlas and currently at Rinehart Foods. He enjoyed hunting and fishing with his friends, and most recently the time spent with his sons.
He is survived by his sons Kody and Dylan Jones of Homestead; parents Carol Obadal and Terry Stammeyer of Solon; sister Jill (Ben) Sampica and their children Mackenzie Morgan and Reid Sampica of Marion; maternal grandparents Ernest (Barb) Obadal of Swisher and Eldora Rathje of Cedar Rapids; paternal grandparents Lee (Marion) Stameyer of St. Lucas; as well as aunts, uncles, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the family.
