James (Jim) Robert Gardas, 55 of Solon, died Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at his residence, surrounded by loved ones. As per Jim's wishes, there will be no services. Brosh Chapel in Solon is handling arrangements. Jim was born February 24, 1957 in Minnesota. He moved to Marion in 1985 to work for Rockwell Collins. Jim worked for Rockwell Collins for 27 years as an Electronic Engineer. He enjoyed his three dogs, Minnesota Vikings, Iowa State football, golfing and hunting. Jim will be missed by all.
